The past year was a productive one, including substantial progress on my book manuscript with Lynne G. Segall, a new live album from Outer Park (our 4th!) and some great Nashville studio sessions that will lead to our 5th, a writing retreat that helped me make some good leaps on both of the novels I’ve been working on.
The coming year will see a couple of these projects reach the finish line:
- Lynne & I have decided on a publisher, and we’re putting together the final manuscript of “Don’t Smash the Watermelon” for September release. This handbook for business problem solving with impact has been in the works for years, not to mention field-tested in both classroom and executive training room. Soon we’ll share more information about that, including a new web site where you can preview some of our ideas, examples and even some of the templates we use for tackling the hardest “figure it out!” problems.
- The first singles from Outer Park’s 5th album (title still tba) should start appearing everywhere you stream or download music by springtime. In these sessions, we wanted to emphasize original material and new directions, and everyone in the group found their muses. Can’t wait to start releasing what we’ve come up with!
More to come. Hoping everyone’s 2025 is off to a good start.
